The
Joey Rodgers Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to honoring the memory of Florence
County Sheriff's Office Deputy Joey Rodgers through awarding academic scholarships. The intention of the Foundation
is to commemorate the life of Deputy Rodgers, and to keep present his spirit of hard work and commitment in our community.
This goal is accomplished by awarding a scholarship in the name of FCSO Deputy Rodgers to deserving individuals
based upon academic excellence, as well as their commitment to volunteer work.
Our mission is made possible only through fundraising
events, as well as the generous support of sponsors. Your
tax-deductible contributions are used to fulfill our primary mission areas: Operating the Foundation, and funding the
Joey Rodgers Academic Scholarship.
Since
its inception to date, the Joey Rodgers Scholarship Foundation has awarded 35 academic scholarships, totaling $57,500
